Cascina Bricchetto Langhe, a hamlet of traditional Le Langhe stone farmhouses, can be found at Trezzo Tinella (Cn) about 10 Km from Alba and 3 km from Barbaresco.

The farmhouse, possibily the oldest in the area (built around 1700) warm in winter and fresh in the summer, is situated at an altitude of 550m at the top of a peaceful remote hill surrounded by vineyards and hazelnut groves as far as the eye can see. Two of the houses have recently been renovated to a very high luxury standard maintaining many original features and using natural and local materials.

The view is extraordinary; a sequence of hills overlooked by Monviso and the Monte Rosa massif. The hills are covered by precious vineyards and hazelnut groves, arable land and woods, that highlight both the natural beauty of the land and that which is the result of the steady and patient efforts of man. The “Cascina Bricchetto” is in the centre of the “Romantic way of the Langhe and Roero”, our guests can enjoy beautiful walks, also in the company of a tourist guide or an enthusiast who will help them discover the endemic flora and the wildlife.

The rustic farmhouse is surrounded by grassy areas, vineyards, wooded area full of local trees such as hornbeam, laburnum, medlar, black and white maple and a fruit orchard and large vegetable plot. (Fruit and vegetable can be purchased on request – depending on availability)

There is a covered area for eating al fresco, a barbecue area, a covered parking area and various toys for the children e.g. swings, sandpit, rocking horse, skittles. From the house you can take many quiet country walks along the small country lanes.
